I don't understand what you are saying, I have /boot/kernel/kernel.symbols. 
Please tell me what I'm doing wrong. I've just read and done the steps written 
there :

So I've run 

# cd /usr/obj/usr/src/sys/Melon
# kgdb kernel.debug /var/crash/vmcore.0

and that's the only trace I get using bt full :

229     #define IS_BSP()        (PCPU_GET(cpuid) == 0)
(kgdb) bt full
#0  doadump (textdump=<value optimized out>) at pcpu.h:229
No locals.
#1  0x0000000000000000 in ?? ()
No symbol table info available.
