I have some SATA ports free on an add-on controller card that I could = use, but I didn't know about brackets for mounting a normal sata drive = in a pci slot. I ended up ordering: = http://www.microsatacables.com/m-2-x-2-to-sata-iii-dual-port-adapter-with-= pci-e-bracket/ Which allows 2 m.2 cards that support SATA. I also ordered 2 m.2 128G = cards. You can get simple brackets that let you mount a normal sata = drive in a pci slot (no connection to the actual slot connector). If = your slots are all spoken for, you could combine a bracket with a = generic sata card in another slot (assuming you have multiple slots = free). > _______________________________________________ > freebsd-questions@freebsd.org mailing list > https://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions > To unsubscribe, send any mail to = "freebsd-questions-unsubscribe@freebsd.org" >=20
