It'd be nice if there was a variable you could set to avoid such downloads, like: .if !defined(WITHOUT_GPL_SOURCE_FOR_BINARIES) SRC_DISTFILES= xorg-x11-6.8.2-37.FC4.49.2.1.src.rpm .endif but I've not been following enough lists long enough to know if such a thing would be acceptable. Odd that it only seems to happen if you do 'portupgrade -F' ahead of time, but not if you're just upgrading with 'portupgrade -pr'. > Cvsup will overwrite the patch. Fair enough.
