'pkg check -ad' prints 'Checking all packages: 100%' I uninstalled FreeBSD-set-base plus the sets that were pulled in and did autoremove the packages. Now I have FreeBSD-set-kernels, FreeBSD-set-minimal, FreeBSD-set-minimal-jail and also the package FreeBSD-rc is installed. However, the setting is ignored again at startup - /var/run/noshutdown is not being created. Regards, Roberthelp
