I just took a look at everything....this port is very out of date and  
broke.. It's unrelated with your problem, though.. I am going to do a  
major clean up with this port. For example:

* No longer use gtk12, gtk2 now.
* No longer depend on avifile and libmovtar (maybe more..).
* Near all of flag options are out of date. Most of flags have been  
renamed, like -with(out)-quicktime -> --with(out)-libquicktime and etc.
* Correct the USE_GETOPT_LONG.
* Looks like no longer need files/patch-configure.
* Maybe more....
