On my first set of questions I received some valuable input. Thanks!

So here is the second set...

After reading many docs, I think this is the situation if I want to use =
X:

1. No X on the server, just files, databases
X on another FreeBSD box, possibly dual-boot with a Windows version
Do I have to put my X-applications on every client or can I put them =
on the server too?

2. X on the server, plus files, databases
A Windows PC with a client program (Hummingbird Exceed?) to run X in =
a
window while having access to other Windows programs.
  =20
Is this correct? Are there other possibilities?

Remark: Another way is to develop Windows programs accessing files and
database on the server. I know how to do that but I don't want to!
