Newbie question. How does one configure a serial port under FreeBSD to use as a console for another machine. I wish to use the BSD equivalent of dos's com1: on my Toshiba laptop

1. what do I configure in the kernel (sio1?)
2. which /dev device do I talk to with minicom?
3. are there any /etc files that I need to configure

I am tring to use minicom from my laptop to talk to my Sun boxes when i build them.

I *have* had a go myself with limited success. If anyone knows or can point me to a URL or FAQ I would be greatly appreciative.
