Well, it seems to be unanimous that squid is the way to go for a robust proxy server running on FreeBSD. Thanks for the feedback from all who responded. I downloaded squid and started setting it up but could use a little more detail on the squid.conf file. Any suggestions on where I might be able to get some more detailed explanation of some of the features of that file? Thanks, Michael A.
