You have the Freebsd box set up as a router? nat? or proxy?

If it's a router, you should be fine. You'll have to allow a fairly large UDP port range (the exact range presently escapes me - 10000 to 60000 maybe?) but that's the default isn't it?

If you have a NAT or proxy setup you'll likely not have much luck with NetMeeting. Especially not if you want to send video.
