Just curious if anyone was working on either a port of HyperSCSI to FreeBSD, or perhaps some other similar project for exported file systems. I'm not a fan of NFS myself, and the idea of iSCSI and HyperSCSI seems pretty intriguing, but there seems to be no FreeBSD support mentioned anywhere. The source code for the HyperSCSI server and client seems to be quite small, though it's Linux kernel code, so a complete rewrite would probably have to happen. Anyways, just curious if anybody had any thoughts about the porting or what FreeBSD might have planned for this sort of functionality. -- Justin Hopper <jhopper@bsdhosting.net> UNIX Systems Engineer BSDHosting.net Hosting Division of Digital Oasys Inc. http://www.bsdhosting.net
