Hi all, I've upgraded recently my desktop computer to an Intel Core2Duo. I've buildworld FreeBSD 6.2RC1 with SMP support. Strange enough the two processors are detect at kernel boot, but the second processor is not activated :-/ I send the dmesg of the boot, on the kernel config file i've just added the line "OPTIONS SMP", like i always do. I have several other servers running quite well with multi processors, from PentiumD to Opterons. Can this be a bug of the RC1 ? Thanks in advance. Carlos Santos (Portugal)home | help
