Firstly, I know gnome3 needs systemd and systemd needs Linux. So ... whatever. I thought it's impossible to make gnome3 run on BSD systems, but the OpenBSD shocked me! Wow, Gnome 3.8! You know, they're kind of freaks. And now the PCBSD announced a next image which includes Gnome3/Cinnamon desktops. Therefore it's not impossible. So why FreeBSD doesn't have a Gonme3 port? PS:the kde-meta port is too huge, and breaks often that makes a bad experience for desktop purpose.
