Confirmed 'make buildkernel' does create these files, apparently via /usr/src/contrib/elftoolchain/elfcopy/main.c (thanks Adam). Still odd that these are LSB binaries which don't run on this server and nothing including cleanworld removed them. Anyone audited elftoolchain recently? Roger
