Well, the redistribution conditions seem reasonable enough to do this, I guess, but not so reasonable that I'd want to rely on them for our package format! Zip can always be pulled out of ports with a "Sorry! Didn't know!" but anything that the package tools depend on will, of necessity, have to go into /usr/src so I'm not faced with a bootstrapping problem. If I'm really wrong about zip, I'm willing to revisit this. I would really be estatic at the prospect of a random-access mechanism for the pkg tools! Jordan
