It's invoked as: cu -E ^@ -l serial -s 38400 "serial" is a symlink to cuaa1 (which is the internal COM 2 port on this box). > What device do you have the getty on in /etc/ttys for the modem? The dialin modem is a COM 3 internal V.FC modem. It's on ttyd2.
