Hi : I noticed an gcc option from recently pentium-gcc discussions, that's "-fomit-frame-pointer". (I remembered linux often use it) I man gcc and it said that the option will make debug impossible. I always making my world with "-O2 -m486", is it ok to use this option to make world ? How about make kernel ?! About make kernel, will "-O2" or "-O2 -m486" make kernel run faster ? Thanks. -- 李 建 達 (Adonis) 交大資工 Mail: jdli@csie.nctu.edu.tw
