Thanks.  If you can help me a little, I'll try to reproduce the
problem here.  I assume I need to install the "kaffe" and "jdk"
ports.  Beyond that, could you send me a test case and a description
of exactly what I have to do to run it?  Also, please send me the
output of "printenv" on your system.

Maybe if I use your ld.so.hints file (eek!) I can get it to fail here.
