Just thought I'd mention that the RSA DES challenge is over, and that the winning client was a DESCHALL machine, **** running on FreeBSD *** !! Neato. The search ended after 25% of the keyspace was searched (50% globablly). Considering the odds of that, combined with the fact that FreeBSD was collectively only cracking about 1-2% of the keys, I'd say the gods are on our side :-) -Mark -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mark Mayo mark@quickweb.com RingZero Comp. http://vinyl.quickweb.com/mark finger mark@quickweb.com for my PGP key and GCS code ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- University degrees are a bit like adultery: you may not want to get involved with that sort of thing, but you don't want to be thought incapable. -Sir Peter Imbert
