Hi All Im getting conflicting advice on what the best interleave is using freebsd ccd for my news spool the man page for ccd says news spool should be a large interleave BUT im being told to use as small as i can by another news admin. current settings are name interleave flags devices ccd1 2048 none /dev/sd2e /dev/sd3e thats 2 4.5gig seagate baracudas and gives me about 4-5 messages a sec should soon be running 4 4.5 gig drives so that might help this is running freebsd 2.2.2 and inn 1.5.1 so whats the best interleave? what flags should i use? cheers in advance Steve Lalonde Systems Manager ENTANET International Ltd The answer's YES what's the question?
