Warner, you haven't ever built a release, have you? It runs entirely in a chrooted tree. I don't understand Simon's complaint either. Perhaps i was too innocent, and didn't even think that it might become a problem. Anyway, my 2.2.5-prerelease build last week went well (and i'm sure it hasn't been the last one i did). That's all from a somewhat-current machine (before The Great Troubles with disappearing files and such).
