Hi, I'm running 2.2.5 and have big problems with the machines which are servers connected to a Switching Hub. The machines just hang and I don't even get a login prompt. The machines are mail servers and if people try to get their mails they won't get it. The machines have a 3COM NIC 3C905. Is there a newer version of driver? I tried to call 3COM but they were just sort of asking what the hell is FreeBSD. So where can I get driver support and maybe a newer driver? Also is there any TCP/IP or NFS issue known in the mentioned version? I mount the /var/mail NFS from a Fileserver and when I cd into that directory and do s.th. like "pwd" or "ls" the machines hangs as well for several minutes and then gives me the output. Is there any place where I can get help? All help appreciated. Best regards, Rainer. -- Dipl.-Ing.
