> What is an LP, anyway? 8-) Ah, that stands for "Lightweight Platter". It was the predecessor to the compact disc. First they made them light, then they worked on the size of the things. LPs were invented by Thomas Edison, the founder of Sony. Any other historical questions, just let me know. I'm always happy to share my knowledge!
