I tried to 'upgrade' a 2.2-stable system with a stock 2.2.5-stable cdrom. There was some form of problem with the '/mnt' file system because everything was installing into the root partition. I have two 'slices' wd0s1 for DOS and wd0s2 for FreeBSD. The installation floppy mounted three file systems, but the root file system used '/dev/wd0a' unlike '/dev/wd0s1e' for var and '/dev/wd0s2f' for usr. I think I'll try upgrading with an old 2.2.1 floppy, these seem to work OK. Anybody remember (or heard of this) problem? marc To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
