Has anybody managed get a Notebook with such a chipset to work
with FreeBSD? Neither 2.2.6 nor the latest PAO seem to support it.

As far as I understand the Documentation that came with my Notebook, the
chipset can go into a i82365 compatible legacy mode, there even is some
documentation about how to set that, but I'm quite at a loss about how to
massage my system into setting that up, not having any experience with
diddling PCI registers etc. from within the kernel.

Any help, pointers, etc. would be greatly appreciated. I absolutely *don't*
want to run Linux on that thing.

Michael
