Just set up a new system with a 3COM 3C905 Fast Etherlink XL PCI and I get the following message at intial boot, pci0:19: vendor=0x10b7,device=0x9055,class=network (ethernet) int a irq 9 no driver assigned. I have checked the following, 1. device vx0 appears in the kernal I am using 2 grep vx0 /etc/rc.conf network_interfaces="vx0 lo0" # List of network interfaces (lo0 is loopback). ifconfig_vx0="inet -with correct IP address here netmask 255.255.255.128" 3. I set the 3com card to 10Mbs using their supplied config program New to this configuration of hardware, what should I be doing or looking for?
