NC is a marketting term which is generally applied to "thin fat clients", ie. a client system with the ability to offload some amount of the application processing from the server to the NC. The amount of offloading depends on whose NC definition you buy. -- \\ Sometimes you're ahead, \\ Mike Smith \\ sometimes you're behind. \\ mike@smith.net.au \\ The race is long, and in the \\ msmith@freebsd.org \\ end it's only with yourself. \\ msmith@cdrom.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-chat" in the body of the message
