I got a polite note from an ISP a few years ago, asking me if I needed
the root password for some good reason to let him know why, and I
didn't understand what he was on about or why he used so many smileys
(Huh? what's a root password? Why would I want to see the / directory?).
Apparently my many attempts to access my second account there without
providing its userID before hitting Enter had come to his attention :-)
And I still make that mistake occasionally.
