ELF in theory is the same, but there is a lot more to deal with. What I was more concerned about was duplicating chunks of the elf code to work from memory rather than a vnode. Of course, if we can easily create anon backed vnodes these days then the whole thing should be pretty easy - imgact_gzip could just decode the data into the vnode and then feed it back to the exec routines.
