Hi all, I'm using 8.0 amd64 with Xorg, gnome and all the stuff installed from packages. I have an ATI Radeon HD 2400 video card. The thing is that I can't get it working at all. Without xorg.conf file, the whole system freezes. With the xorg.conf generated by Xorg -configure I'm able to see the mouse cursor but then the system hangs again (before I get the gnome desktop in the scree). This is with "radeon" driver dri, dri2 and glx modules. I tried with the radeonhd and it is the same thing... The only driver that seems to work for me is the vesa driver. Can anyone provide a working xorg.conf file or any hints to make this card to work? Thanks in advance.
