Do you want to bug JKH, or should I? ;) You're 6 months late, this is already done: revision 1.26 date: 1999/08/26 00:45:34; author: peter; state: Exp; lines: +1 -3 unifdef -DINTERNAL_LS - it's too useful to be off by default. If anyone really dislikes this, we could add a switch to disable it at runtime and check in popen.c.
