| We are running a an Apache 1.3.12 server with mod_jserv 1.1 and finding that under load tests, FreeBSD 4.0 is ending up socket starved. Any ideas on how to increase the number of sockets available? For what its worth, under _Solaris_ you can see thousands of sockets hung in TIME_WAIT when you use mod_jserv. The fix there is to apply a kernel patch. Might be worth revisiting some of the timers round closing connections. Enno. To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-isp" in the body of the message
