This is very strange. I've compiled a new kernel and when I mount a CD (mount /cdrom) I get this in syslog: localhost /kernel: cd9660: RockRidge Extension localhost /kernel: RRIP without PX field? Then when I try to cd into /cdrom I get this: david@~ % cd /cdrom /cdrom: Not a directory. What's going on? The only thing I can think of is that I've added DMA support to the kernel. ad0: 12395MB <IBM-DTTA-371290> [25184/16/63] at ata0-master using UDMA33 acd0: DVD-ROM <TOSHIBA DVD-ROM SD-M1202> at ata1-master using WDMA2 afd0: 96MB <IOMEGA ZIP 100 ATAPI> [96/64/32] at ata1-slave using PIO0 Any ideas? -- David Kanter To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
