I have a FreeBSD box not connected to a printer, but I would like to print some man pages. If I send the output of a man page to a file and then attach that file to an email, I can pop the email on a w2k box and then print the attachment. However: spacing is preserved but the commands for bold and highlight are not. The bold formatting character becomes a black box followed by a duplicate character. A highlighted character becomes _blackboxduplicatecharactercharacter. Needless to say this is somewhat unreadable. Is there a way to save the man page without the bold and highlight affect? Alternatively, is there a w2k/windoze utility that can be used to strip unwanted characters from a file? thank you... -- Murray Davis Converging Technology Solutions Edmonton, AB To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
