The only reason i did not wanted to touch rc.network is that i think that
this would be more dangerous than the current situation (the reason for this
is that i remeber well that it lasted some days or weeks when Joerg with
a bit of help from me introduced the sppp* lines to rc.conf and rc.network
and i donīt think that we have the time right now to go again thru that).
I just thought that placing signs everywhere ("donīt use this anymore but
instead use this") is better than fixing rc.network now in a hurry and it
might later fail in the field. Not more not less.
Iīll start working on a patch to rc.network but iīd like it to be reviewed
by as much eyes as possible.
