What Im upset about is I=20 | have to ctrl-alt-backspace to kill x when I lock the screen, and I cant= =20 | get kdemultimedia's cd player to work, keeps crashing. Other than that,= =20 | its ok... Yes. If you do cd /usr/local/bin chmod 4555 *.kss chmod 4555 kcheckpass You will just unlock the screen by entering the password. Maybe you should first make a note of the perms on *.kss just in case you want to revert back. The CD player also asks me to vrf that I have access to /dev/rmatcd0 or whatever... Try the above and lemme know if it has any effect on the screen savers. Thanks for the response. | Ill try building the latest and see if it will fix anything, but I=20 | haven't seen anything that says it does..... |=20 |=20 | Odhiambo Washington wrote: | >Anyone had luck with running Kde2.2 with the screensavers working? | >How did you go about activating the screensavers?
