I found that turning off malloc options: cd /etc ; rm -f malloc.conf ; ln -s aj malloc.conf Thanks to David Obrien for giving me the syntax (boy am I lazy), now it seems to compile fine. I'm also wondering if people that are complaining about really slow buildworlds have tried turning off the malloc options to see how much of a difference it makes, I would assume it could be quite substantial. -- -Alfred Perlstein [alfred@freebsd.org] 'Instead of asking why a piece of software is using "1970s technology," start asking why software is ignoring 30 years of accumulated wisdom.'
