Thought this commit will probably come as a shock to some people, I think it's been clear to at least some of us that you've been sort of burning out on gcc for awhile and also increasingly interested in finding something which can enhance your skill-set in different areas. I, for one, really appreciate the work you've put into gcc over the years and hope that you find something equally challenging and more interesting (for you) to do for the FreeBSD project. Folks, gcc is now open for volunteers to take over maintainership and I'm sure that the advent of gcc 3.x makes this an especially good time to look for some enthusiastic new blood. Do I hear any interested parties? Thanks! - Jordan From: "David E.
