Hi all! In /etc/defaults/make.conf there are sample entries suggesting that you could set HTTP_PROXY or FTP_PROXY in /etc/make.conf and have fetch et. al. honour it - like when installing ports. Unfortunately this has no effect at all on the operation of "make install" in some port's directory. You have to setenv these values for fetch to work. If this is on purpose, why are these sample entries in /etc/defaults/make.conf? Thanks, Patrick M.
