FreeBSD Mall employs at least one committer (Murray Stokely). They're also looking at 'investing' a lot more effort in the documentation, especially the Handbook, over the coming months. DaemonNews has employed (AFAIK) several committers in the past (and might still do so, I'm just not up to date on their staff list). DaemonNews has been responsible for enabling the production of many excellent articles about BSD, and helping raise the overall BSD profile over the past few years. It's probably six of one, half a dozen of the other. If you want your money to *directly* benefit the project, you are, IMHO, better off making a donation directly to the FreeBSD Foundation. It's also got tax benefits if you're a US citizen (I think). Perhaps buy your= =20 first CD set from DaemonNews, and donate the same amount to the Foundation.= =20 Then buy the second CD set from FreeBSD Mall, and donate the same amount=20 to the Foundation.
