Updates to sendmail should have no impact on Postfix, but you should ALWAYS keep a close eye on mergemaster! Whenever mergemaster hits a new mail.conf, simply keep the old one except for the RCS line at the top. (Select 'm'erge and select 'r'ight for the first diff and 'l'eft for subsequent differences. Then 'i'nstall to install the old mail.conf with the new RCS line so you won't get bugged every time you run mergemaster. R. Kevin Oberman, Network Engineer Energy Sciences Network (ESnet) Ernest O.
