According tomy information, which are loosely based on the asus website, the p4s533 has a SIS645 Chipset, not an i850. The board you are probably looking for is the p4t-e. However I cannot say anything about either of them. Still running a BX Chipset, which unfortunately does not seem to have a real successor regarding stability and reliability. Would be really glad to hear otherwise, though. > [ search was not helpful ] > > anyone used/using a mobo with intel 850 chipset? i am inclined to do so, > and am trying to decide brand/model, scsi controller, axp video, ... to > replace my desktop (an asus cur-dls which locks up occasionally under > combined scsi and graphics load). > > i am lookong at the asus p4s533 > > randy > > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org > with "unsubscribe freebsd-hardware" in the body of the message > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hardware" in the body of the message
