Howdy list, I recently upgraded a number of my servers of the course of a week. Most = were=20 upgraded from FreeBSD 4.6 RELEASE to FreeBSD 4.6.1-p10 RELEASE, but the last server (and most important...) was upgraded from FreeBSD 4.4= =20 RELEASE to 4.6.2 RELEASE. (The upgrade took so long, I crossed over versi= on=20 numbers! :) ) Now I seem to have a serious problem. My ifconfig command won't register more than a couple domains/IPs. It doesn't give any strange errors, either. It just doesn't work! So now I am running a FreeBSD 4.6.2 RELEASE world, with a FreeBSD 4.4 REL= EASE=20 kernel. (This solves the problem momentarily) Does anyone have a clue what happened here? (I'm thinking permissions of = some=20 sort... but I can't figure it out.) And yes, I ran installworld in single user mode. Thanks! Matthias To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
