I've never ever needed to cleanup lib. Are you sure that's absolutely required? Also, for upgrading from 4.x already has the bit about nuking /usr/include/gcc. I've never needed to do more. What libraries are bad that need to be removed, specifically? Or is this just paranoia inspired?
