I'm using Kazaalite under wine and its working fine for me like all other win9x executables that I have installed using the crossover plugin. (except quicktime!@$#%). try http://www.codeweavers.com/products/crossover/ to install the software u wanna use with wine. u might also need to take a look at "man wine.conf" :) Ed.
