:2 requests: :- add some cvs flags (i.e. update -Pd). updates will fail on empty dirs :without this. :- add info about maintaining a local branch or patchset. : :Thanks, :-Nate Will do. I'll add a paragraph describing the 'recommended contents of ~root/.cvsrc'. I use this myself: diff -u update -Pd checkout -P If anyone has a better set of flags email me. I'll add a section on maintaining a local branch or patchset. I do have a little thing there that shows people how easy it is to break out and maintain multiple source trees, but I don't have any examples beyond describing how to check-out -stable and -current. -Matt Matthew Dillon <dillon@backplane.com> To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
