The device probs in the kernel as: > > pcm0: <Intel ICH4 (82801DB)> port 0xbc40-0xbc7f,0xb800-0xb8ff mem 0xf4fff400-0xf4fff4ff,0xf4fff800-0xf4fff9ff irq 11 at device 31.5 on pci0 > pcm0: <SigmaTel STAC9750/51 AC97 Codec> > > and it definately didn't have this behaviour in 5.1-RELEASE. Does it do this all the time or only after the system has been suspended and resumed? If so, take a look at http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=55395. I know Orion has looked at it, but I don't know when he might have a fix for it. You might check the value of hw.snd.pcm0.ac97rate. If it is not 48000, try setting it to that value. -- R.
