Hi, I'm thinking of getting a Promise UltraTrak SX4000 and setting up a RAID-5 on it. Does anyone have experience with this product, or suggestions for something similar? The UltraTrak is an external enclosure with a built-in IDE RAID controller and it interfaces with the host computer using SCSI. I'm running a 4.8-REL system on an SMP Tyan S2510 motherboard using the on-board SCSI controller. Thanks for any suggestions. -- John-Michael Wong <jmwong@curee.org>
