Hi, The port says this is where I should post any bugs, so here we go:- I get some of the extensions for Firebird, in the extension list, to install just fine. from http://texturizer.net/firebird/extensions/ However, the one I really want - StumbleUpon - just wont. (http://www.stumbleupon.com) It seems to think the file permissions are wrong (for the chrome dir?). But, IMHO, they're not! Firstly beause other extensions install OK, and I'm not sure chmod -R o+rw is a particularly good idea. There was a whole bugfix (bug 109044) about this and a patch etc...! Do you think thats got something to do with it? (http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=109044) Oh, the FreeBSD Handbook, on browsers, says something about running Mozilla as root! I tried this and GTK just complains about not being able to open the display. The only way to do this is to run X as root, then open Mozilla. Is this right? I've been searching around for a while now, but can't find anything else useful. I've cvsup'd the ports and re-installed firebird, but it didn't do the trick. But, I hope you know something that can help.
