The drive gets recognized as ast0 and with 32k blocks taring to /dev/ast0=20 seems to work fine. But how can I control the tape? "mt" gives for almost any command: mt: /dev/nast0: eod: Input/output error The rewind command gives no error but finishes way too quick. Also I haven't been able to restore any data yet. I'm aware about the DI-30 but that's the one I have to deal with atm. What's the trick with the missing raw devices on 5.2?
