Hello folks, I'm running FreeBSD 5.1 on a Asus M2E laptop with AC97 sound. Runs like a charm but for one thing: when playing mp3s through xmms or mpg123 the songs seem to be about 5-10% slower than normal. The latency is only noticable if you listen closely, but it is definately not a figment of my imagination. Any ideas??? Matthew Faircliff
